Building CrazyDev.in – My Journey as a Web Developer from India
Hey! I’m Ashutosh Dubey, and this is just a casual, behind-the-scenes story of how I ended up building CrazyDev.in — my own little space on the internet.
Where I Started
I didn't come from a tech background or a big city. I started with curiosity, basic HTML, and a laptop that could barely keep up. No fancy setup — just a strong urge to learn and create something of my own.
Why I Made CrazyDev.in
After building websites for others for a while, I realized I needed a space where I could showcase what I do, how I work, and what I’ve built. That’s where the idea for CrazyDev.in came in.
I wanted something that looked clean, worked fast, and had just enough animations to feel modern — not flashy, just me.
Tech Stuff (Briefly)
I won’t get too deep into code here, but in short:
-
Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and some 3JS magic
-
Backend: PHP
-
Hosting: Self-managed
-
Focus: Speed, design, and clarity
What Took the Most Time?
Surprisingly, not the code. It was the content — trying to explain who I am, what I offer, and what kind of projects I work on in simple words. It’s hard to talk about yourself without sounding like a resume.
How It Helped
Since launching the site, I’ve seen more people reach out—especially through LinkedIn and Instagram. Having something solid to show clients helped a lot, especially with freelance gigs.
Final Thoughts
This isn’t a “look at me” post. It’s just me putting out something I’ve built and being proud of it. If you’re also working on your site or thinking of starting one—do it. Even if it’s simple. You’ll learn a lot.
